Line or Polygon Select

This tool allows the User to Draw a multi-vertex Line or Polygon and select all object on the Active layer touched by the Line or Polygon to be selected.  Please note it is what the Line or Polygon touches. It does not need to be completely drawn around the object you want.

1. Left Click on this tool.

2. Place cursor over map where you want to place the vertices of the line or Polygon. Click on as many vertices as you need when you are done click on the Complete Line and Select or Complete Polygon and Select. 

3. If you want to delete the last point click on delete last point and then continue defining your Line or Polygon. If you mess up more than the last point click on Restart. If you can’t create a line or polygon that selects only the objects you want then you will need to build a complex Query.

3. All selected items will be highlighted in Yellow.
